Bees are flying insects closely related to wasps and ants, and are known for their role in pollination and for producing honey and beeswax. There are nearly 20.000 known species of bees in nine recognized famillies though many are undescribed and the actual number is probably higher. Thanksgiving Paper Chain
Things you need:
* Ruler
* Pencil
* Construction paper (red, yellow, green, blue)
* Scissors
* Marker
* Clear tape
Steps:
^ Measure and mark off the strips on the different pieces of construction paper. Make the strips all 1 inch wide and 8.5 inches long. Cut the strips out carefully with the scissors and make separate piles for each strip color.
^ Use the marker to begin to write things each person is thankful for onto the centre of the strips. Use an assortment of different-colored strips to write the thankful-for messages.
^ Group all of the strips with thankful items in a pile, and use the strips without writing as filler between the thankful strips.
^ Take a thankful strip and make a circle with it, overlapping the ends by approximately 1/2 inch. Make sure the writing faces out, so people will be able to read it. tape the ends in place.
